  • PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease) is a condition where the ovaries release a lot of immature or partially-mature eggs which eventually turn into cysts. Some of the common symptoms are abdominal weight gain, irregular periods, male pattern hair loss and infertility. PCOD/ PCOS is a hormonal imbalance & lifestyle disorder. If untreated, it may lead to Insulin Resistance and Diabetes. Seed Cyling is one such thing that has shown to improve period and pms symptoms in a lot of my clients.
  • Diabetes mellitus, commonly known as diabetes, is a metabolic disease that causes high blood sugar. Hasn’t every doctor you consulted asked you to eat every two hours? Well, yes it is that important. You didn’t get diabetes because of just a few months of unhealthy eating, but, because of long years of unhealthy living. You stress levels, nutrient insufficiency, sleep quality, consumption of excess refined carbs and so.
Work with us and manage your type-2 diabetes with a holistic lifestyle change.
  • TEENAGE is the age when a girl or a boy is going through so many unknown (and unsolicited) changes, both physically and emotionally. This is the age when a teenager can break or make her/his body. They can either get nutritiously sufficient or nutrient deficient. It is extremely important to look upon our teenager’s diet and nutrient intake. This is the same period when they get enrolled into many co curricular activities and also leave them later due to study pressure. Exercising or doing some activity is very important in this age as if you have a good teenage period, you will have an excellent “twenties’ period”. This is a time when we as teenagers tend to even skip meals to attend all those classes and perform well in our exams. At the cost of what? Our body.
Today, so many teenagers suffer from hypotension and anemia. Join our program to manage this and have a healthy adult life.
  • Hypothyroidism aka THE BUTTERFLY SERVICE because of the shape of the thyroid gland that’s present in our throat. Yes, it looks like a butterfly. Ladies, if you have an abnormal TSH, T4 or T3 levels, then don’t worry. Don’t call this a problem! THYROID is not a problem. THYROID is like a shield, if you wouldn’t have had it, then your baby won’t be protected or developed and you yourself won’t be able to digest food because Thyroid Gland controls metabolism and also your heart, sweetie! Out of every 10 people, 7 suffer from either HYPOTHYROIDISM or HYPERTHYROIDISM, most commonly it’s HYPO and most commonly it’ women. When the TSH levels are high and T4 levels are low, your metabolism is likely to reduce its speed and working power, because of which you gain weight and fat and you are categorised as HYPOTHYROID. And the vice versa situation will categorise you as HYPERTHYROID. One more thing, thyroid hormones do not work alone, they need iodine and tyrosine (a protein) too. In HYPOTHYROIDISM, you have less iodine and tyrosine levels and vice versa in HYPERTHYROIDISM. Abnormal THYROID levels is a sign of BAD LIFESTYLE CHOICES, so please don’t blame your gender or the hormones. And, the good news is that it can be managed or your thyroid levels can be get back to normal with the right practices. Also, there is often a possibility of getting hashimoto’s thyroid- an auto immune condition for which you need to get “anti TPO” test done.
What you need to do generally?
You need to make lifestyle changes, the good ones.
  1. Eat on time- eating food regularly is very important as it helps keep your stomach full. Read more about it in this article “right way to lose weight”.
  2. Sleep on time- sleep is very important when it comes to curbing the aforementioned lifestyle diseases. Sleep time is recovery time, if you won’t let your body heal, it won’t function properly. And also, good sleep will help you keep stress free.
  3. Exercise regularly- Movement & lifestyle diseases go hand in hand. You need to learn it the hard way but if you won’t exercise REGULARLY, you won’t see any change.
  4. Eat a nutrient rich diet– Add whole grains, complex carbs, lean protein, fibre, fruits and vegetables.
    Avoid processed foods.
  5. Eat good proteins with every meal– Protein is the building block in our body. Every organ, tissue, our hair, nails akin everything is made up of protein. Dairy is important because of protein and also eggs, beans & legumes and other such sources.
  6. GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME- Give things time. Follow this regimen for at least 3 months, and then see the changes.
